Looking to create a FavIcon? Upload an image to this handy tool and it will generate one for you.

What is a FavIcon?

A FavIcon is the little image that appears next to the URL address in the address bar.

Firefox 1+ (Mozilla-based) browsers display the favicon on the address bar and browser tabs. Internet Explorer 5/6+ browsers display the favicon on the Favorites menu and on the address bar.

How to display your FavIcon:

1) Upload your favicon.ico file to your images directory.
2) add <link rel=”shortcut icon” href=”favicon.ico” > to the %lt;head%gt; section of your web page.
3) the href portion should point to the exact location of the file. (ie href=”/images/favicon.ico”
4) That’s it!
