Learn from the Worst Web Designs
Mosey on over to Web Pages That Suck and learn from the worst.
Each day, a poorly designed web site is posted on the Daily Sucker Blog. The author (Mr. Flanders) comments briefly on the problems with the site. As much as one can learn from the well designed sites, one can learn just as much from the poorly designed ones. Subscribe to the feed to keep up on bad practices.
There are several helpful articles on the site. In particular, read the Biggest Web Design Mistakes in 2004. I, myself, am trying to determine whether the navigational system on my site sucks.
Oh, and wondering why the Web Pages that Suck looks so mediocre? Thats the point.
