Learn to Use Google
It seems silly to suggest that one must learn to use Google. It is patently simple isn’t it? Well, yes, basic search is very simple. But most people are not aware how to do more complex searches nor are they aware of ALL the other services that Google supplies.
Enter Googleguide. A tutorial website that instructs users on getting the most out of Google. The tutorial can followed along at your own pace and there are “versions” for both novice and expert users. Essentially the guide is the same for both sets of users. The expert version allows the user to jump around and skip sections at their leisure. While the novice version is more step-by-step hand holding through the material.
The Googleguide can be downloaded as a PDF. In PDF format the guide is 150 pages long.
For beginners this is an extremely helpful resource. Advanced users can send the link or the PDF to family and friends that are not Net savvy. It is a great instructional tool.
