Using Personal Technology Wisely
Technology is fun and cool. I enjoy the time I spend on the web, reading and writing. However, proper perspective about anything we bring into our lives is necessary. Consider this quote found at the end of this article on mobile entertainment:
“It’s one of the healthiest choices I ever made,” Dr. Greenfield said. “People need to make choices and not just get it and assume it’s a good thing. … If technology is all that great, why isn’t everybody happy?”
For the beginning web developer it is very easy to get swallowed up in the development of websites and the overload of information. While it is natural to thirst to do more and read more, it is also natural to take a break. Patience and perserverance are far more valuable than burn out.
