Colorful tabs adds a little color to Firefox tabs. Once installed, and Firefox is restarted, each tab will have its own color. This helps in easy identification of each tab. It simply just helps the eye differentiate each tab. For some having the extra visual clue helps! The favicon (if a site has one) is still maintained on the tab as well.
