Can you live without the Internet?
Came across an interesting post in some of my old bookmarks.
Last fall Yahoo and OMD conducted an Internet Deprivation Study.
All participants in the qualitative portion of the study found living without the Internet more difficult than they expected, and in some cases impossible, because the tools and services the Internet offers were firmly ingrained in their daily lives
The Internet has made a very large cultural impact. It has changed the way we communicate, the way we find information, the way we shop, etc. Anything technological that becomes such an ingrained part of our lives does need to be challenged from time to time and reevaluated on a personal level.
It comes down to a basic question: Can you take a break?
