Boredom and The Net

by Paul Flyer

Deane @ Gadgetopia is lamenting his lackluster enthusiasm for things on the Net. It strikes me as boredom. It indeed is a problem we all face with things familiar. Bored with the Net? Here are a few recommendations:

1) Turn it off for a few days. Well, your computer, not the Net literally.
2) Read a book other than about technology or web marketing.
3) Go fishing.
4) Fly a kite (in the good sense of the words)
5) Rediscover search engines. I find cool stuff on the 10th, 15th, 25th page of Google all the time.

It is easy to be obsessed with our routines. I am guilty. The key for me is to just get away from the screen.
